In compliance with the “maintenance and improvement planning of public roads”, Teulada Moraira establishes a study of the public roads which are in bad shape or are causing problems every year. Following the study the necessary road work will be realised in order to get them in the best shape possible for pedestrians as well as for cars.
This year more than 20 roads of Teulada Moraira will get new tarmac or will be repaired: C/. Altea, C/. Clementina Bertomeu, Camí del Camp de Tir, Camí del Pas, Camí de la Sisca, Camí de la Font Santa, C/. Pintor Sorolla, C/. Paloma, C/. Canario, C/. Fasián, C/. Pintor Zuloaga, C/. Pintor Leonardo Da Vinci, C/. Puerto Espindola, C/. Puerto de la luz, C/. Puerto Lapice, C/. Benipeixcar, C/. Álamo, Camí de l’Andragó, C/. Cabo San Vicente, C/. Cabo Finisterre , C/. Cabo San Martín, C/. Monte Perdido, C/. Cartagena, C/. Salamanca, and crossing C/. Móstoles including Camí de la Camarrocha.
The councillor Raúl Llobell explains that the road work is necessary to keep the roads in the best possible condition and mentioned that this will only be the first phase of improvement and that during the next months more work will be done. Llobell also met with delegate of the province. They discussed the final work on the Carretera Moraira-Teulada. There is some asphalting and painting left to be done and the job should be finished before Semana Santa.
