Associations and non-profit organizations are getting more and more popular and the purpose of subsidies is to offer more support and better work conditions while they strive to help creating a better community. The Teulada Town Hall will welcome applications for subsidies from non-profit organizations and associations in the SIT (Information and processing service) until March 23, 2017.
Entitled is any institution registered in the municipal registry in Teulada. The amount of money each association will be granted depends on their activities and the project they present. In addition to the institution´s normal activities, the projects need to contain some basics: welfare, culture, youth, sports, agriculture, fishing, stock farming, sponsorship and citizen participation.
All activities must take place during this year and must be completed within the given time schedule.
Minimum content of projects handed in: description (including a statement that it will have impact on municipal activities and that it is of public and social interest). Activities must be temporary, bring progress and must be economical.
The procedure will help to assure a fair and suitable distribution of the subsidies between institutions and once again underlines the councils strategy to avoid any arbitrary criteria when distributing money and gurantee the most possible transparency.
